President Obama says that the long-term debt load of the United States is unsustainable. He warns against excessive borrowing from China, and he is sounding the alarm bells of higher interest rates. This is really remarkable, because the Obama administration is exploding budget deficits, skyrocketing national debt, allowing the Fed to print trillions of dollars out of thin air, and borrowing more China. In fact, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projects that Obama’s budgets will double the national debt in five years and add another $9 trillion in debt over the next ten years. It’s the same old “Do as I say, not as I do” mentality from Washington D.C.

Rand Paul won’t stand for this type of hypocrisy, from either party. Just as he criticized the Bush administration for doubling the national debt, he stands against the Obama administration’s dangerous spending spree. Rand will fight for balanced budgets, the paying down of national debt, financial independence from China, and an accountable Federal Reserve that is no longer allowed to debase our Dollar. Washington D.C. is in desperate need of an objective outsider to set it straight. Rand stands ready to deliver.
