Rand Paul and The Scott County Young Republicans
The Scott County Young Republicans will be celebrating their one-year anniversary on Saturday, June 27. The event will be hosted courtesy of Scott County Magistrate Stewart Hughes at his farm in Georgetown. Dr. Rand Paul will be the guest speaker. This event is open to the public, so anyone who would like to hear more about the Republican message of small government and fiscal responsibility is more than welcome to come out.
The outdoor cookout begins at 4:00 PM, and those wishing to attend are invited to bring their families and fishing poles, as Mr. Hughes has volunteered his pond for some catch-and-release fun.
Scott County is one more of many stops Dr. Paul is making as he continues traveling the state meeting with supporters and potential supporters, gauging his support for the upcoming 2010 Senate race.
