World Net Daily is a staunchly conservative news site. Ironically, it inserted Dr. Paul’s May 14 announcement on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow”, considered a liberal news outlet. Rand’s political appeal extends across the political spectrum, and his ability to garner legitimate interest in conservatives, liberals, and independents could prove an invaluable asset come election time. Propositions such as balanced budgets, less national debt, protection of civil liberties, and a more efficient national defense are catching the attention of an increasingly frustrated electorate.
