The Lexington-Herald reported on the fight brewing in Kentucky politics, noting that Rand Paul supporters are attempting to raise more money!
There are nine months until the May 18th primary, when Kentucky voters decide their nominees for US Senate, and a struggle for the GOP nomination has already broken out. On one side, we have a career politician who has been campaigning since he left college. On the other side, we have a career medical doctor who supports term limits - Dr. Rand Paul, a candidate for We The People!
Supporters of Dr. Paul were outraged to hear that 23 senators, 17 of whom went against their own party platform and voted for the bank bailout, are planning a ritzy fundraiser for Rand’s opponent in Washington D.C.
Rand supporters have taken this as a challenge, and have planned another “money bomb” for September 23, and will spread the word and donate in this single-day event. An epic match between The People and the Washington Insiders seems assured.
