The Advocate-Messenger reports on Saturday’s GOP Rally in Lancaster:
Rand Paul has raised about $1.1 million for his campaign since entering the race earlier this year, most of which has come from Internet fundraisers. Paul was in Lancaster Saturday gathering support and talking with residents about why he is running for the Senate.

“I’m worried about our country,” he said.

Paul said that if elected he will introduce a bill for term limits and suggest making some sort of rule that Congress must pass a balanced budget.

A self-proclaimed outsider, Paul said the country needs outsiders in Congress who will shake up the system — which is what Paul said he plans to do if elected.
