Perhaps what continues to be the most significant story in all three major polls released so far (Survey USA and Daily Kos Research 2000 the other two) is that Republican Rand Paul is no fluke. He is now armed with a poll that shows him beating one Democratic candidate and within striking distance of the other. Paul also raised $1 million in the third quarter, and judging by Trey Grayson’s urgent appeals to donors in the days leading up to the Sept. 30th deadline, the Republican Secretary of State may not have matched Paul’s receipts.
