Senate Finance FAIL

Rand Paul noted Tuesday as the U.S. Senate Finance Committee debated its version of ObamaCare, that too many on Capitol Hill have apparently learned little from the last century of failed socialist schemes.

“The Baucus bill represents yet another Washington D.C. double talk attack on real economic problems,” Rand Paul said. “They are cramming more government control, deeper debts, and higher taxes down the throats of Kentuckians and calling it ‘medicine.’ This proves yet again that we need elected representatives who look at the Constitution as similar to the Hippocratic Oath rather than as a permission slip for accumulating more power in the hands of a few politicians.”

There is still time for reason to prevail in this debate. Rand Paul will host a Health Care Town Hall Forum at Valley High School in Louisville on Saturday November 7 at 10:00 AM. There he will discuss how capitalism and common sense free market reforms can address current shortcomings in health care policy.
