Kentucky at 11.2% Unemployment

Every single state in the country has seen an uptick in unemployment when compared with the same period last year, according to a recent report released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Thirteen states (including Kentucky) and Washington, D.C., now have unemployment rates higher than the national rate of 10.2 percent. Kentucky is at 11.2%.

Rand Paul would seek to cut taxes, and end the Capital Gains tax. Rand Paul also supports permanent repeal of the Estate Tax. The best way to improve economic growth is through capitalism, not more government programs.
