Rand Paul will host a November 30 fundraiser for Republican state Senate candidate Jimmy Higdon in Bardstown. Details on the event are not yet available.

“If Democrats succeed in taking over the state Senate, they could stick Hal Rogers, Ed Whitfield, and Brett Guthrie in the same district and Republicans could lose two seats in the U.S. House. Rand won’t just sit by and watch Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama gain more power at Kentuckians’ expense. Rand saw an opportunity to help out and he took it. We think most Kentuckians will agree this was a necessary thing to do.”
