Rand Paul has been more outspoken than any other U.S. Senate candidate in the country in opposition to ObamaCare, holding several town hall forums and appearing repeatedly on national television. Rand has proposed, instead of expanding government’s role in health care, to lower regulatory barriers to insurance innovations in order to allow market capitalism to reduce costs. He has proposed ending medical price-fixing, which would also make medical care more affordable.
The Senate Democrats’ health care bill will increase costs and lower quality of care. Rand supports the efforts of ObamaCare opponents everywhere during what may be last opportunity to kill the bill.
