Rand’s case for term limits

Published on 04 December 2009 by in General News

U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul considers term limits essential to improving the way our federal government works.

“Term limits would reverse some of the earmarking process, some of the pork barrel projects that are based on seniority, if you brought people home,” Rand said.

“It’s a big contrast in the Republican primary between me and my opponent. My opponent is a career politician who looks forward to the rest of his life in Washington D.C. if he can get there.”

Rand supports a limit of two six-year terms for U.S. Senators.
