“”I think there really needs to be new rules,” Paul said, explaining his stance as a “constitutional conservative” who has been labeled many different ways by critics, supporters and political observers. “I think our government should be strictly restrained at a practical level. I think we should balance our budget like you would balance your checkbook.”"
“Paul emphasized his desire to act as a force for change instead of attempting to carve himself a career as a politician.”
