Rand Paul will speak Wednesday evening at the University of Louisville in what was supposed to be the first U.S. Senate debate in the Republican primary.

University of Louisville College Republicans made an open-ended offer to host a debate between candidates Rand Paul and Trey Grayson back on October 23. Grayson’s campaign flatly refused, so the students asked Rand Paul, who maintains a double-digit lead in the race, to come to campus alone.

Rand will speak Wednesday at 7pm ET at the Horn Auditorium (Room 106) at the College of Business, University of Louisville Belknap campus.

Rand has also agreed to attend a candidate forum sponsored by McCracken County Republican Grassroots Group on Saturday, February 13, at 12:30 pm CT at the McCracken County Courthouse in Paducah.
