Rand Paul applauds Kentucky’s state Senate Judiciary Committee for approving a strong pro-life bill this week in Frankfort. The bill would require abortion doctors to perform an ultrasound prior to performing an abortion and then require them to show and explain the pictures of the unborn child while he or she is still alive.
Pro-life advocates report that such use of ultrasounds persuades many women to not destroy the child. Rand’s strong pro-life position has earned him the endorsement of Concerned Women for America.
Pro-life supporters can encourage Democrat House Judiciary Chair John Tilley to not kill this bill when it reaches his committee.
