BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Retiring United States Senator Jim Bunning has endorsed eye surgeon and Tax Payer advocate Rand Paul in the race to fill his seat. Sen. Bunning announced his support in press release this afternoon.

“Senator Bunning’s recent stand against deficit spending illustrates his deeply principled conservative leadership. We need to make sure those same Kentucky values continue on in the United States Senate. I am proud to carry that mantle forward and champion the fight for spending restraint and return to Constitutional government.”
