Today, as we gather with our families and enjoy all that God has given us, we also remember all that has been sacrificed on our behalf. I salute all those who have served in America’s armed forces. Our pursuit of life, liberty and happiness is made possible by those who risk all three of those on our behalf.
As the son of a veteran, I know the sacrifices our men and woman in the armed forces make each and every day. And I know the sacrifices many families make as well.
Today, we honor the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. We ask for all to honor their memory, and we ask for peace for their families.
