BOWLING GREEN, Ky.—Today Dr. Rand Paul received the endorsement of the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC), a government watchdog group dedicated to promoting candidates who will fight to defend taxpayers from government waste and abuse.
In a CCAGW PAC release today, Chairman Thomas Schatz lauded Dr. Paul as a “bona fide fiscal conservative committed to reducing the size of government by working to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.”
Dr. Paul’s mission to reduce the size of government and lower taxes for Americans has been the keystone of his candidacy for U.S. Senate.
“The ringing endorsements of taxpayer-advocacy groups for Dr. Paul speaks volumes to his devotion to serve fiscally conservative causes when he is elected to the U.S. Senate,” Paul campaign manager Jesse Benton said in response to today’s notable endorsement. “The state of our economy and its massive spending spree has got to stop and Dr. Paul will fight to do just that. We are honored to receive the endorsement of Citizens Against Government Waste and look forward to standing with them and standing up for Kentucky’s taxpayers.”
