BOWLING GREEN, KY - Today, the nation’s leading small-business association, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), endorsed Dr. Rand Paul in his bid for election to the U.S. Senate in Kentucky.
“Rand Paul’s election is not only critical to the small-business owners in his state, but also to protecting free enterprise across America,” NFIB Vice President Lisa Goeas wrote in a letter congratulating Paul on the endorsement.
The NFIB is the nation’s premier small-business association representing small and independent businesses. Founded in 1943 to protect the rights of small-business owners to “own, operate, and grow their businesses,” the association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization.
“Our campaign is honored to have the support of an organization that stands up for small-business owners like the NFIB does,” Paul’ campaign manager Jesse Benton said. “Entrepreneurs are under attack right now from the Obama-Pelosi anti-business crowd in Washington, and Rand Paul is determined to help fight against them and stand with Kentucky’s small-business owners.”
