BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After weeks of trying to distort Dr. Rand Paul’s position on Medicare,  Jack Conway is now silent about his support of President Obama’s national health care plan, which cuts $500 billion in benefits, increase deductibles, and raises out-of-pocket costs by nearly $1000 for current Medicare recipients.

As reported by the Courier-Journal, the facts about Obamacare’s costs to seniors were confirmed by Richard Foster, the actuary for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,

“…in a recent letter in which [Richard Foster] told Senate Republicans that deductibles would increase and benefits would decrease for those who have Medicare Advantage plans.” (Louisville Courier-Journal 10/14/10)

Where Is Jack?

Well, we already know where Jack Conway stands. Jack supports Obamacare, and has said that he would have voted for it had he been in the U.S. Senate at the time. It is ironic that the self-proclaimed defenders of Medicare, Obama-Pelosi-Conway crowd, are destroying Medicare for seniors right now. Do we really want Jack in Washington so he and his liberal friends can make even more mischief?

Dr. Rand Paul wants to keep our promises to seniors and those who are nearing retirement, and depend on those benefits. Rand Paul will not raise deductibles on current Medicare recipients. Dr. Paul is opposed to President Obama and Jack Conway’s irresponsible health care plan, and will fight to repeal it.
