January 19th - Washington DC - As the House of Representatives addresses its first pieces of legislation, Sen Rand Paul released the following statement on one important bill to be voted upon: to repeal the job-killing health care-related provisions in the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, otherwise known as Obamacare.

“I applaud the House of Representatives for taking up repeal of the overreaching government takeover of health care. I look forward to it passing, and I will fight to take it up in the Senate to end this misguided big-government solution to an issue better addressed in a free-market environment,” Sen. Paul said.
