WASHINGTON, D.C. –
On Monday, the United States Supreme Court heard arguments in Sackett v. EPA. This case not only highlights the extraordinary power of the EPA, but exemplifies the abusive overreach of regulatory agencies by placing unreasonable burdens on peaceful citizens and threatening them with heavy fines or jail time. Thousands of families across the United States are facing similar aggressive action from the EPA, with no legal means to fight back. Sen. Paul hosted the Sackett’s and heard many other similar stories at a property rights roundtable he held in the Senate in October.  Also, click HERE to read more on the arguments and the potential outcome of the Sackett v. EPA case.
