WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Sen. Rand Paul released the following statement regarding Sen. Mark Kirk’s (R-Ill.) medical condition:

“I was saddened to hear the news that my friend and Senate colleague Mark Kirk suffered a stroke. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. I hope for a speedy recovery and his return to good health,” Sen. Paul said.
