The Rand Paul for U.S. Senate campaign plans to make an open records request of the Kentucky Attorney General’s office for information into AG Jack Conway’s claim that he would research the ObamaCare legislation before deciding against joining multiple efforts to protect states from the new law’s negative effects.

“He said he would have his staff analyze the new law before deciding to support it,” said David Adams, campaign manager. “But I suspect that he really just looked at polling data showing the hardcore left-wing primary voters want someone to back up Barack Obama.”

As the leading candidate in the GOP primary, Rand Paul opposes ObamaCare and supports encouraging more competition to lower health care costs. Rand supports efforts to repeal ObamaCare legislatively or in the courts.
