BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In a day-long road trip yesterday, Dr. Rand Paul visited a number of communities in south central Kentucky, rallying supporters and talking with voters.

The first stop was at the George J. Ellis restaurant in Glasgow, where Dr. Paul met with supporters and local officials. Dr. Paul visited with diners enjoying lunch and sharing in their support for his vision for Kentucky.

From Glasgow, it was a quick trip up the road to the Columbia town square, where on the footsteps of the Adair County Courthouse, Dr. Paul rallied supporters who were sick and tired of the Obama agenda taking our country in the wrong direction.

At a stop at Mitchell’s Family Restaurant in Russell Springs, Dr. Paul addressed a group of primarily seniors who were interested in his plan to protect them from the hidden costs and fees in the massive Obamacare legislation.

In Somerset, the place to be was Honeybaked Ham. Supporters came out to hear what Dr. Paul will do to protect small businesses and entrepreneurs from the tax-and-spend agenda of Washington establishment liberals.

In the final event yesterday in Albany, a packed house of Kentucky GOP supporters convened on the fairgrounds for dinner. From the local PVAs to members of the state legislature, everyone rallied together in unity for Dr. Paul’s vision for Kentucky, and even delivered a standing ovation at the conclusion of his remarks.
