BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Yesterday was the deadline for campaigns to release their quarterly fundraising numbers, and according to the numbers released Dr. Rand Paul’s campaign for U.S. Senate has handily surpassed the fundraising total of his opponent Jack Conway.

From the Associated Press: “U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul has released a campaign finance report showing the Republican took in $2.7 million for the three months ending Sept. 30, about $1 million more than his Democratic opponent Jack Conway.” (Associated Press 10/15/10)

The Paul campaign has weathered a steady stream of attacks and distortions from the Conway campaign throughout the general election, and has continued to maintain solid leads in all credible polls, win the fundraising battle, and will have the necessary resources to prevail in this election.
