U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul has accepted a debate invitation extended by the University of Louisville College Republicans. Suggested dates for the debate are January 21, 27, and February 4, 15, and 25.

The invitation has also been extended to Rand Paul’s primary opponent Trey Grayson.

“Any one of these dates is fine with me,” Rand Paul said. “I appreciate the Louisville College Republicans’ efforts and look forward to a serious discussion about how the Republican Party can effectively get our country off the big government merry-go-round.”

“I hope the Grayson campaign responds quickly so we can get to work on this important event for Kentucky Republicans,” Rand Paul said.
