Rand: Don’t vote Bernanke

Rand Paul urged U.S. Senators to delay voting on the renomination of Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke at least until after he turns over the AIG Bailout documents requested by Sen. Jim Bunning and submits to an audit as suggested by Sen. Jim DeMint.

“The lack of transparency in Bernanke’s Federal Reserve is as dangerous as Bernanke’s hubris about the lack of transparency has been offensive,” Paul said. “We don’t sent our representatives to Washington D.C. to cower in fear before incompetent bureaucrats. Nor should we as citizens stand by and quietly watch them get to keep their jobs.”
