Dr. Rand Paul could be a force to be reckoned with in a Republican primary and beyond. His common sense message, success in the private sector, and tremendous fundraising potential are sure to make for a very competitive race. The message of balanced budgets, a strong Dollar, civil liberties, and a powerful, but more focused, national defense is piquing the interest of disenchanted conservatives, thoughtful independents, and an increasing number of Democrats. The prospect of a Washington outsider is quite attractive to a lot of voters.
