Rand Paul raised $261,880 on Tuesday in his “Give Me Liberty” Money Bomb. He has now raised $550,000 for the quarter and more than $2.3 million over the course of his stunningly successful campaign.

Rand has attracted national attention to Kentucky for his solid conservative values and for the way he has steadily climbed in the polls from outsider and long shot to front runner. Rand’s contributions have come from individuals in mostly very small amounts while his opponent has received fundraising assistance from lobbyists for the nation’s largest recipient of federal bailout funds.
