Dr. Paul’s incredible momentum is once again held up as a prime example of the people rejecting the status quo and making a difference.
Wednesday on Happy Hour, Dr. Paul offered our state’s balanced budget rule as an example of a necessary reform the federal government should emulate. He also discussed his opposition to government bailouts and takeover of industry.

“I will work with Senator Mcconnell, and I’ve already made the first step of calling him,” Paul said. Paul explained that he would work with McConnell on areas where they agree, but that “I think people want two senators, they don’t want one.”
Rand Paul supports term limits as a means of reining in career politicians and pork barrel spending. He supports the legislation introduced by U.S. Senate Republicans Jim DeMint, Tom Coburn, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, and Sam Brownback to amend the Constitution to limit terms.
Rand Paul visited Western Kentucky University for a health care town-hall meeting, where he addressed over a hundred individuals, mostly students, many of whom signed up to volunteer for the campaign. A voter registration drive was also held outside.
The Republican Liberty Caucus was founded in 1991 to advance the principles of individual rights, limited government and free enterprise within the Republican Party and throughout America.

Rand Paul and his campaign staff would like to give thanks and remembrance to all the veterans of the United States Armed Forces. If elected, Dr. Paul will seek to give veterans the benefits they deserve. I often hear Dr. Paul suggest we give veterans the congressional medical plan and let our congressmen go to the VA, I’m sure we would see massive improvements at the VA immediately if that were to happen.
