The WallStreetJournal.com takes notes of our intellectual hero, Ludwig Von Mises, and how Von Mises explained how government-induced credit expansions led to imbalances in the economy.
Judge Andrew Napolitano of Fox News says:
“When I recently asked Congressman James Clyburn, the third ranking Democrat in the House, to tell me “Where in the Constitution the federal government is authorized to regulate everyone’s healthcare-, he replied that most of what Congress does is not authorized by the Constitution, but they do it anyway. There you have it. Congress recognizes no limits on its power. It doesn’t care about the Constitution, it doesn’t care about your inalienable rights, it doesn’t care about the liberties protected by the Bill of Rights, it doesn’t even read the laws it writes.”

Franklin Co. volunteer, Andy Stone, recognized an opportunity to promote Dr. Rand Paul at a statewide cross country meet in Lexington this weekend.

The Southern Political Report takes notice of the incredible fundraising success of Rand Paul’s Senate Campaign, which raised over one million dollars last quarter - a very impressive feat for a first time candidate. All eyes will be on Rand Paul and his fourth quarter numbers. If this trend continues there is little doubt who the frontrunner will be going into 2010.
Like the American colonials against the British redcoats, Rand Paul’s innovative supporters have been running rings around their slow-moving establishment opponents, turning everything conceivable to their advantage.
Nolanchart.com reports on the childish attack launched by Trey Grayson. My question for Trey: Does Trey realize that while he was supporting Bill Clinton in the 90’s, Rand Paul was fighting for lower taxes in Kentucky? Hence, Rand Paul has been a Kentuckian longer than Trey has been a Republican.
