In his efforts to grow the party and unite conservatives, Dr. Rand Paul will be holding a fundraiser for State Senate candidate Jimmy Higdon November 30, at 6:30 P.M. ET, at the home of Rick and Nancy McCubbin at 210 N. 4th St. in Bardstown.
Jimmy Higdon is running in a special election to be held on December 8. The race has dramatic strategic ramifications, because if one party takes control of the entire state legislature, it will be possible for them to redistrict the state to solidify their monopoly of power in Washington. Mr. Higdon’s election is key to preventing this.
Though there is suggested donation of $100, anyone is encouraged to come meet Dr. Paul and Mr. Higdon.
