Kentucky’s Cabinet for Health and Family Services this morning announced the purchase of a booth at the 2009 Kentucky State Fair promoting increased federal funding for government-funded health insurance.
Rand Paul opposes expansion of taxpayer-funded entitlement programs and supports instead allowing medical professionals to take tax deductions for treating those who can’t afford to pay for health care. Too much government is bad for you, just like too many hot dogs and funnel cakes.
