Rand Paul’s strong opposition to Obama’s socialized medicine plan has rallied Kentuckians to support “more capitalism in health care, not less.” Republicans, Democrats, and Independents across the commonwealth have heard Rand’s straightforward message of ending price controls and allowing competition to lower health care costs and improve access. They like it because it makes sense.
But not everyone gets it. While Kentucky’s Republicans in Congress are clearly unified behind stopping Obama’s odd gamble, we can’t be so sure about Democratic Representatives John Yarmuth and Ben Chandler.
