The U.S. Senate standoff on ObamaCare appears certain to continue up to or past Christmas day. Rand Paul supports Republican efforts to continue debate, which allows more Americans to understand what is wrong with the Democrats’ “health care reform” bill.
“We have to ask the fundamental questions,” Rand Paul said. “Are the problems in health care because of too much government involvement already or too little? Are the problems in health care currently because of too much capitalism or too little? I think we already have too much government involvement and don’t need more. I’d say we don’t have enough capitalism in health care.”
Rand supports ending the Democrats’ rush to pass their health care bill without carefully considering its expensive implications. Rand supports lowering costs by allowing providers to compete on price and reducing health insurance costs by eliminating wasteful coverage mandates.
